Debbie has been writing since she was a teenager. She writes for children and adults in both the fantasy and crime/thriller genes, and has been published in the UK small press and the odd magazine. She's been short-listed for the Ian St James Award and long-listed for the CWA Debut Dagger Award.
Her Young Adult fantasy novel Edge of Dreams won 1st prize at the Winchester Writers Conference. There's a sequel Flashpoint in the pipeline too. Both are looking for a permanent home with a publisher and promise to be well-behaved, earn lots of money and not cause any trouble.....

Ricky can. And when he comes face to face with the characters of his dreams, he realises that they are more than just night visions. Somehow he is seeing another world - a world that is soon to seem more real than his own when he meets the charismatic Calith and becomes involved in Calith's fight to prove his allegiances to his masters. And when Calith betrays them all to the powers of darkness, Ricky finds he can no longer sit on the sidelines and watch the match. He is a player now - a player with a unique talent that just might win them the game.
